TV in the Philippines
English TV in the Philippines is certainly a realty, for the past week I have been able to follow what is going on on UKTV with live and recorded programs, which makes a change from the stock American based programs on local satellite TV.
The program allows you to watch BBC via your computer at a cost of less than 10 Euro (570PHP). I am already planning on purchasing a large screen for my computer later in the year, so this could serve a duel purpose.
Today, I watched a recording of the Oxford and Cambridge boat race, which was one of the most exciting event for many year. I was formally a cox of my college first VIII and I do not think anyone could predict what was going to happen.
If you have not heard the outcome, I will not spoil it for you by telling you the result but you will never have seen racing like this;

Easter in the PhilippinesLife in the Philippines
Easter in the Philippines
Easter in the Philippines is a very serious occasion for this Catholic country, with a four day holiday commencing with Maundy Thursday through to Easter Sunday. Virtually all major shops are closed on Good Friday and many smaller ones over the whole period.
There are many church services and special events such as the Linabo 3003 Steps on the outskirts of Dipolog City which is quite popular among the locals especially during the Holy Week.
You would find hundreds of devotees faithfully climbing the 3,003 steps to commemorate the suffering of Christ. To go to Mt. Linabo Park, you can first get a ride to the drop-off area. It will take you about 15 minutes from the outskirts of Dipolog City to reach the drop-off point. The Many tourists prefer to take the "habal-habal", a motorbike with sidecar to carry people. The fare ranges somewhere between 20 to 50 pesos.
The hike to the peak will take an hour. Many people start out excited, however, by the time they reached the Fourth Station of the Cross, they’d be drenched in sweat. So, make sure that you are capable of finishing the hike before you go to the Linabo 3003 Steps.
Make sure that you are wearing light clothes and the right footwear. Avoid heavy backpacks if possible. You will find a small convenience store at the base of the mountain. Make sure you have food and drinks to take along with you.

Healthcare in the PhillipinesLife in the Philippines
Healthcare in the Philippines
I never knew how lucky people in the UK are with free healthcare, yet they still complain. Having been sheltered for many year, in the last year I and my family have used private hospitals for minor ailments and had to pay quite reasonable prices for consultations and medicines.
However at the weekend Jay broke his arm falling from his bike and was admitted to Dipolog Medical Centre. This was an all new experience especially as we do not have medical insurance.
The elbow required surgery so I got a rough estimate of 25,000 PHP for the surgeon, but was not told of all the ancillary fees which ended up amounting to 70,000 PHP, all of which have to be paid before leaving hospital. This can have a dramatic effect on most peoples cash flow and even if one has local insurance you still have a portion to pay.
I would have preferred to have known the higher figure prior to admission, so as to be able to check out alternatives, as although the surgery was urgent it was not an emergency.
Yes insurance is on my to-do list and at least now I have a real case to use in order to insure my family with a company which provides the best policy to seat my needs.
The hospital experience itself was also an eye opener, having opted for a general ward ended up in a 3 bed ward with no other patients. Posted visiting times seemed to be ignored and in fact family members were there 24/7. The equipment was adequate and surgical staff knowledgeable, some questions about ancillary nursing staff.
Once I have gathered some more information on Insurance I will post it here/

TV in the Philippines
TV in the Philippines generally is based on American style programs and it is rare to find a service which offers programs from the BBC let alone sport such as Rugby, although now the Philippines are taking up Rugby sevens and Rugby league perhaps there will be more coverage, otherwise you have to put up with Baseball, Basketball, Snooker and of course football.
TV reception is often interrupted by bad weather, tropical rainstorms and high winds, so I have been looking for alternatives. now I did come across one piece of software which allowed viewing of TV programs from around the world, but this only offered recorded programs ,so was something of a rip off, however last week I found a company which offered UK TV programs from the BBC and ITV.
I subscribed to the program and found it seemed to work well over my broadband connection, having been a fan of Doctor Who since it was first introduced many years ago I was pleased to see it was still running and was able to watch one of the latest episodes. I also caught up on UK breakfast time news and a rugby game. All in all I was quite impressed. I did suffer a little spooling delay when watching the rugby game but that was because my partner was also downloading something from the Internet at the same time.

Living in the Philippines
Slow Internet connections where I live are making running an online business very difficult in Sindangan and the situation is only getting worse. Smart the ISP recognises there is a problem, which degrades the service and they cannot maintain the bandwidth. A friend of ours runs an Internet Cafe and of course is as lo effected badly.
Yesterday we travelled to Dipolog to check on progress of our new house and it seems it will be completed next month so we took the opportunity to search for appliances and furnishing as there are a number of special; offers been run by stores.
We had been recommended to go to one store Better Living, as the local Branch in Sindangan said they had a larger stock, however it turned out they would only give 5% discount for cash. I found this amazing as we were prepared to spend about half a million peso, but they would not shift. So we left and went to another store our friend recommended Emcor. Here the they could not be more obliging, and they did have in stock a Front Loading washing Machine which is very difficult to find in the southern Philippines. we in fact spent the whole afternoon with one member of their sales staff travelling around their various outlets picking the items we needed at 10% discount. We in fact made some very good saving compared to our budget which was based on manufactures recommended retail prices an in addition received a number of free gifts.
So when we have to purchase more items for our home in the Philippines guess where we are going to shop
Recently the local ATM have been offline for hours at a time die to a combination of brownouts, power cuts ISP failures or lack of money. On two occasions this has caught us out, once when getting our puppy Fred vaccinated by the visiting Vet, so we them a few days later with no problem. But it was a different story when wanting a bottle of Sprite from the local store, the owner wondering why a White person did not have money. It comes as a surprise to many Filipinoes to discover that white people are little different to them and can run short of cash. we are not banks after all.

Major issues at this time revolve around getting money into the country, I have been waiting for a replacement visa card to arrive from the UK for the past two weeks, so decided it was time to call and find out what has happened. The news was not good, apparently the card had been cancelled as NatWest will not send cards to the Philippines where I now live. I was very upset to learn this, and more so that I was not informed of this when I requested a replacement card.
More bad news was to follow as it seems that my letter requesting a bank interbank transfer has also gone missing, one reason might be that the bank has a new address now in Leeds rather than Bradford but no-one thought to tell me the customer. I raised these two issues with customer services who will investigate the matter. I have now have to wait until Monday to send a second letter to the new Address to request funds transfer.
I now have to totally rethink my banking strategy, I am not really keen to only rely on Philippine banks because I do not really trust them, one can also loose so much transferring money between currencies. Unfortunately there are no banks operating in Mindanao where I can deposit sterling, so not sure what I will do now.
It would seem that the year is ending on a sour note as our new house in Dipolog does not look as if it will be ready for occupation until January, and we also have to budget on building two walls to completely wall in the garden so that our new puppy Fred does not go wandering.

Life in the PhilippinesLife in the Philippines
Life in the Philippines continues to suffer from bad Internet connections and frequent power outages which can make operating an Internet business very trying. But at the moment my connection is back to full speed after a visit from the Smart technicians who reconfigured my Canopy connection. Of course when they arrived there bas what they refer to as a brown out, no power. I prefer to call it a power cut or black out. A brown out is low power which is most of the time here.
We are not visiting our house in Dipolog this week, as last week we finalised the painting details and hope to view the finished results next Tuesday, subject to the weather.
We have made friends with another Englishman who has set up a Beach resort near Sindangan and we visited on a couple days, they have a very nice set up with a clean beach ,ideal for family outings but need to do some advertising to bring in more business. I have agreed to build a website to help them along their way and have started work on a simple design using a blog.
I am still awaiting a call from the Dentist form my teeth repair, but am in no particular rush as the posts seem quite firm in my mouth, and I need to get money transferred from the UK.
Moving funds into the country is still a problem and I hope that my new Visa card arrives soon otherwise we will need to cut back our seasonal celebrations.

Philippines Power management damages Computer
Today my computer problems were finally diagnosed and the root of the problem was not the power supply unit but the motherboard of the computer has been fried as a direct result of the total failure of the Zanorte Electrical supply company to provide a constant stable electrical supply. Do they feel guilty No, however it is one of the many reasons why many companies think twice about setting up business in the Philippines.
You would think that with the sun almost directly overhead they would make great use of Solar power but they seem to operate with their heads in the sand. They also fail to control illegal connections to the grid. surely if they knew what they were doing they would realise that the amount of power they produce when compared with the total of the consumer bills clearly shows how much power is being stolen.
Anyway now my main computer is scrap save for the shell, as the hard drive, processor and memory are not compatible with new motherboard so all have to be replaces. Hopefully I will pick up the computer tomorrow and then have to spend the day reinstalling various applications so I can get back to work.
Our unplanned spending continues to mount, also due to the cost of Jasmin's Anti- Rabies course, next we will have vets bills for Fred, and of course my Dental bill. Heres hoping there are no more surprises in store this month. The only blessing being that costs here are lower than Malaysia.

A bad end to the month
Once again the local electricity company decided to cut off the power on Saturday with no prior warning and it was off all day, but created a problem for me when it was switched back on, as i could not get my computer to power up as the voltage was low. Now I do have a UPS with a voltage controller but the battery power had been run down when I shut my computer down when the power went off. It would appear that my computer power supplier unit has been damaged as, the computer keeps rebooting unable to generate enough power. Unfortunately, i will now have to wait a few days before I can take it to the repair shop as there are local holidays. On top of this my laptop has also been damaged as power supply to part of my screen has also been damaged to only 2/3rds of the screen displays data.
We made a trip to Dipolog to get an Xray of my broken tooth, and here was a little bit of good news that will save a little money as I do not need root canal treatment but can have it repaired with a pin and a crown. however still have to wait until the Dentist is back to work.
Yesterday, we also had to go the the hospital as Jasmin needed to start a course of anti Rabies, having been bitten by our puppy Fred, apparently puppies are regarded as a bigger rabies problems in the Philippines than adult dogs.
These unexpected expenses have put a temporary strain on our finances as I am still awaiting the arrival of a replacement debit card from the UK so I can withdraw money from local ATM.

Life in the PhilippinesLife In The Philippines
The Philippines was in the news recently as the Army stepped up its offensive in Mindaneao as a result of ambushes by Muslim militant groups in the Zamboanga Area. A full scale offence including helicopters and aircraft resulted in many thousands of innocent people having to flee their homes for safety just so the army can apprehend some 100 odd men.
Although we are not close to the area soldiers appeared in our town and a curfew is in force from 10PM as they try to stop the Muslim extremists from leaving the area. So it seems even living in Paradise can have it drawbacks.
Apart from this life pretty well goes on as normal and Christmas decorations are beginning to appear everywhere. yesterday I heard by first Christmas carol on the local radio, Jingle bells - hard to envisage snow here in the tropics, although a year or so ago I did see snow when I climbed Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia.
I have to travel to Dipolog tomorrow to get an Xray of a tooth I damaged when mountain biking, in preparation to have it crowned. The local Dentist does not have the facilities.

Power Cuts
The bane of my life, once again plans for my day were severely interrupted by an all day power cut. what is so annoying is no notice is ever given. A simple note outside the Electricity office would suffice. Of course it happened also to be the last day of the month and I had some deadlines to meet.
I was lucky that I start work early, so most of my routine work had been completed, but I had planned to start a new marketing campaign for my real estate business and had just finished setting up and testing my autoresponder, when the deadly beep beep of my UPS started, which gave me time to shutdown my system.
We walked down to the electricity office as we had to pay our bill, and it was then we were told it was a planned and the power would not be on until the evening. I am loathe to buy a generator set as we are planning to move to our new house in Dipolog city, where we have been told there is no problem with supplies.
We went for a drive in the car so that Jasmin could get some more practice, apart from nearly hitting a post reversing out of the garden, the session was a success. For the first time she gained confidence to drive up to 40KPH in third gear on an offroad track. We also did a six point turn before returning home. Turning into out side road was a bit hairy as it is a blind corner and someone had left a motor cycle at the edge of the road which we missed by a few inches.
The afternoon was spent reading and we had a walk along the beach waiting for the power to be switched on. the power came on just before 1700 and I switched on my computer. But there was a problem, My mouse would not work. I struggled for an hour, rebooting and testing the USB port and mouse setting, and eventually it worked. then the dreaded beeb beeb of the UPS returned, a brown out, Normally the battery in the UPS would normalise the power but this time it did not, so I thought it had a fault and disconnected my computer from the UPS and tried starting from the mains supply. Definitely low power, not enough to run the computer. The UPS continued to beep so I switch it off and an again and this reset it and I was able to plug in the computer and start it up again. Ready to go, but now the wireless Internet was down and I suspect the same problem that caused my UPS to fail has also effected Smarts relay station, so will have to wait for them to get around to fix it.
12 hours later the power is on but no Internet look like another lost day. Still have problems with mouse not working so did a system recovery to a back up two days ago and now it is back working.

Banking
Life in the Philippines would be perfect if they could get their banking sorted out and centralised. the problem is Banks here do not talk with each other, so if you do business here you need an account with all the major banks so as not to run up charges when moving money from one bank to another.
You will often find services offered by banks in the provinces quite different to those in their head office. I have spent some time search for a bank where I could deposit GBP as I wanted to have easy access locally but keep my main account in UK.
I saw online that BPI (Bank Philippines Islands) had GBP deposit accounts and Internet banking as well as a branch in Dipolog city where I will soon be living so thought this was great. I went into the bank, on my visit to check progress on my Dipolog house and lot for sale, armed with by chequebook together with Identity details, to open an account. Imagine my surprise, when customer services said, I am sorry sir in this branch to can only open a PHP or USD deposit account. I referred them to their website which did not state their were were restrictions for banks in the provinces and I would have thought with a name like BPI they would provide a better services to the various islands. so now I am back to plan B.
Plan B for my banking is to open an HSBC account, now I already know the Philippine version of this bank although on the surface looks the same as banks with the HSBC logo around the world is different, so I have asked them a number of questions and am awaiting their reply. Basically I need to maintain PHP 100,000 in balances across accounts to avoid monthly charges, this is probably ok as it could be used in emergencies. but we will need to see what other charges and benefits they can offer.
Until the next time

How to Market your BusinessMarketing Your Business
How not to market your business
I have not been posting recently as I have been engaged in conversations on a few forums, studying what works and what doesn't. No - forums are designed for discussion not as a place to build backlinks as some people try.
Forums such as The Warrior Forum and WAHM do not allow signatures to be added to posts until a certain criteria is met, in order to reduce fly bye posters. Usually there are also rules about links in posts or where you can promote you business, break any of the rules and you will be suspended or even banned. They are however great place to learn about marketing you business and at the same time get answers to questions or clarification on what works and what doesn't. But not everyone understand the advise been given out.
I having been looking at how people advertise their business in the WAHM forum and these are some of the headings.

Sell My House and Earn Money

Life in the PhilippinesLife In The Philippines
Yesterday was planned to be a day of getting organised with my new business sell my house which helps people to sell property directly rather than use agents, and should do well here in the Philippines, as everyone appears to act as agents wether registered or not. All transactions are carried out online using propriety software to connect Buyers with Sellers, and records all negotiations, so unless the introducer is mentioned they will have no claim.
Anyway, a power outage scupper the plan, so I decided to use the downtime to go out on my mountain bike looking for a new trail. I had one track left to explore on one of my wet weather routes so as it had rained heavily overnight, it was time to see what it had to offer.
It started off with a short downhill section, until it reached a stream , as there were two people by the stream, I had to dismount, which meant, I could not gain enough forward momentum to mount on the uphill section. the track was hard clay, so it was bit to hard. I eventually mounted by bike and continued on along the track which gradually became muddier and slippery, slowing progress, I passed a few local houses but did not see anyone. I was hoping that the track lead somewhere, knowing that the National highway was somewhere to by left. As I climbed one of the hills the track narrowed to a path or single track and it was easier to ride on the undergrowth as there was no traction on the mud.
I would catch glimpses of houses on occasions which I used as a guide whenever the track divided. The rains then descended, so if I built up a little speed I became splatered with mud. Then when climbing a ridge I caught a view of the sea to my left, so knowing the main road lay between me and the sea, I branched to the left and downhill. Now downhill is as bad as going uphill in the wet touch the breaks at the wrong time on a corner and you are off, normally I would let rip or else use the constant breaking to keep speed controllable, today it was not possible, so I rode with one foot on the pedal using a trailing foot for balance.
At One point A Buffalo and young calf were tethers with ropes across the track, so I had to divert into a rough field to keep clear of them, I lost count how many times I came off and in some uphill section, I struggled to keep my feet just walking up the hill. My heart sank when I came across a gate blocking my way, as I thought I would have to return the way I came.
The gate was not locked, So I lifted my bike over a barrier designed to keep small animals out and entered the fenced enclose, rounding a bend, I spotted a motor tricycle which raised hopes that there was a better track ahead, I came to a shelter with a number of workers resting and they confirmed the road was not far away, they noticed my badge International adventurers and thought i was mad. It was good to ride on a gravel track for about a kilometre and I then spotted a landmark I knew, it was the gatehouse of a police compound, so I was on the inside of the compound besides the old Sindangan - Dipolog highway, one of my other routes for wet weather.
Mission was accomplished but I will only use the link between the two routes in dry weather, and hopefully will not have so many falls.
Until the next time

A dark and Stormy night
Sounds like a start of thriller, but no last might I had to go out a pick up Jasmin from the Church in town and it brought home to me the hazards of night driving in the Philippines a major problem is the pedal tricycle taxi's which are totally unlit and when rain and mist cut viability they are completely hidden. The National highway passes through the town buy for some reason last night the street lights were out which made matters worse.
I completely lost by bearings at one point, knowing I had to take a right turn by a petrol station, what I did not realise was there were two station either side of the road I was to turn into, during the day I had never noticed the second one which was lit up at night, so when I went to turn right there was no road. I then had a further problem to find a place to turn around. The passing thunderstorm did not help throwing up strange shadows in the lightning flashes.
None of the side roads of Sindangan are lit and at night they all look the same, with no street sign to guide you its easy to get loss and of course unlit tricycles abound. I suppose the moral of the story is perhaps for Jasmin to travel by tricycle next time but that creates another risks.
Today I have been busy gathering forms to apply for a local driving license, I thought it would be quite straight forward now I have an ARC card, I know I have to have a medical/drugs test but have also discovered I need a tax identification code, so that means queuing at another office when we go to Dipolog tomorrow.

Life in the PhilippinesLife In the Philippines
There has been quite a lot of rain in the last few days, so yesterday when I went out mountain biking I decided to take my wet route, which avoids sticky muddy tracks, you might call me a wimp but when you are biking to keep yourself fit there is not much fun in trying to ride through mud that clogs up the chain, gears, wheels and brakes forcing you to a standstill.
On previous trips I had noted a couple of tracks worthy of exploration, so towards the end of the off road trail I took a left uphill and after a short decent the track split into three, the first led to a stream crossing and a private house, the second one turned in a narrow single track which I followed Until a sharp bend where I fell off at the top of a twisting decent. This path also was a dead end, so I retraced my steps and started down the final option track, as I did so a local shouted out that it was another dead end, so I turned around and decided to call it a day turning for home via a tarred road. I still had some time left to took a side road that lead to the beach and finished the ride along the sand, although at the end I found there was only just enough room to get around some rock by cycling right at the waters edge.
The afternoon saw another rainstorm come in which caused a power outage, which luckily was repaired so I could watch New Zealand trounce Japan in the Rugby World Cup.

Sell My House - Preparing your advert
Before you start advertising you need to gather together the information that you will need to sell your house.
Personal Information
Now many people are concerned about putting personal contact details on the Internet, especially email addresses and telephone numbers which can result in spam type emails and nuisance telephone calls. I market on-line and actually receive thousands of emails and about 5 telephone calls a day from people trying to sell me they are not interested in what I am offering them, so you do not want to make this mistake. A site like Property Wikia protects you as these details are not revealed on-line. Potential buyers will contact you by completing a form.
Photographs
Take eight photographs, exterior and interior views, the exact mix of views is up to you at least couple of outdoor views and if you are selling furnished interior views showing the furnishing as well as room layout. they say a picture paints a thousand words so post ones that will attract buyers
Size of house you are selling
You need to measure the area of your plot or lot in sq m or Sq ft , you should find this on your original plans or title deeds. You will also need the interior dimension of each floor of the property to work out the built up area.
Measuring the size of each room and preparing a written description especially of the rooms that are not shown in the photographs will certainly help buyers to work out if their own furniture will fit into the house, if a room has special features such as a spiral staircase Jacuzzi or walk-in wardrobe be sure to describe it.
>Local Area where you live
Remember you are selling on-line and people from other areas/countries will not be aware of what the area has to offer. They will generally want to know about the nearest schools, hospitals, shops, churches, transport options, notes about the tradesmen you use or recommend such as painter/decorator, gardeners. where the nearest DIY shop is etc.
Is your property in a rural area or city centre, what is the crime level, what kind of people live around you the more helpful information you can provide the more likely you will get a good response. It is worth spending some time gathering together the information in preparation for completing forms.

On the road
I have been doing a fair amount of driving in the Philippines and it can be quite challenging, the problem is in the provinces there are not that many private vehicles. A small motor bike is commonly used, and it is amazing that families of five can all fit on one vehicle and rarely do they where helmets. The highway patrol do set up regular roadblocks to check on licenses, insurance and helmet, they stop quite a few, but the word gets out and large groups build up on the road on either side wait for the officers to move on. It is not unknown to see pigs been carried, long pieces of bamboo, large pannier baskets and boxes of all sizes occasionally blocking a riders view.
Now if they cannot afford a motorcycle, there are horses and mules and buffalo, pulling sleds or carts.
The most common public transport is the Motor Tricycle cheap and affordable but nearly always overloaded and travels at between 20-25 KPH it can also turn 180 degrees in its own length, in addition in towns you find push bikes fitted with sidecars. Jeepneys and passenger vans are the next level up usually jammed with passengers and in the case of Jeepneys with both passengers and cargo riding on top.
Because people have grown up used to slow moving vehicles, pedestrians will often just step out into the road, then there are the chicken, ducks, dogs and geese all of which can appear out of nowhere. Problems also arise when they trying to overtake a vehicle because they are overloaded or lack power the manoeuvre can take a long time.

Today was a day of frustrations, it started ok I did my online marketing and then decided to to do some offline marketing of my sell my house property business, but combine that with a fitness session by using my mountain bike. The route I chose was the old coastal road. I packed a few leaflets in my hydration pack and set off. Before I had gone too far I had to stop and adjust my saddle as it was working loose on the gravel dirt track. Saddle fixed and I was on my way, spotted a house with a for sale sign. Nice house but no one home, tool some pictures and set off down the route. A few miles later another nice house but again no one home. spoke to neighbours across road and learn owner has Internet cafe in Sindangan. Got the phone number, readjusted my saddle and decided to head home for lunch.
After lunch, started trying to contact owners of properties and guess what not one reply. One person had 5 different numbers and did not answer, unbelievable. I had one email address but that was useless as the domain was missing. I tried on and off all afternoon and by evening time the whole network was busy so what can one do.
Yes network problem's are out with ones control however if you want to sell something you need to answer phones, it is almost as if the owners are not interested in selling.
Well tomorrow is another day in Paradise
Until then have a good day.

Well it has been quite a busy week end, what with setting up a new website, Jay Jays Birthday and not forgetting a quick trip in my Sea kayak, the time seems to just fly past.
I had some fun in my sea Kayak, a slightly shorter trip than normal, in my usual direction past the port, I met up with a local fishing banka on its way back home with three people aboard, so after it had passed, I turned
around and set of in pursuit, to get my heart pumping. Only two people were paddling but as I closed up on them the third person picked up a paddle, for a time they held me off, until I put in a burst and passed them and then they headed for the shore.
Work on my new website is virtually complete so I have been able to switch off the redirect so now I have a property sales site http://sellmyhouse.theinterbiz.com on which I can sell local property in the Philippines and also other properties worldwide. The site has some good guarantees for sellers and I am hoping it will prove popular with people who have difficulty in selling their homes.
Tomorrow Jasmin and Jay Jay are off to Manila for a few days, so not sure how much work I will get done as have to take them to the airport in Dipolog city.

Yesterday was another day of discovery on my mountain bike, but a shorter trip than usual due to a pending dental appointment. I decide to follow a track that branched off the main road and the route appears also to offer a couple of further options for future rides. Most of the way it was a gravel track with some short sharp hills which needed the granny gear.Apart from one longer downhill section on loose gravel it was generally it was a good ride passing by a few odd houses until it eventually reached a build up area with a tarred road on the outskirts of Sindangan, so I returned on the level road, so as to miss out the hill climb.
The afternoon visit to the dentist was to have a bridge and crown fitted this was the culmination of a number of weeks work involving 3 root canals and installation of two posts to support the bridge. I am please to say that the work was of high standard and the all up cost worked out to be 30,000 Peso which is good value for money.

News from Sindangan and Dipolog city
The afternoon rainstorms seem to be a permanent feature at the moment, Yesterday morning I managed to get a quick exercise session in my Sea Kayak, I as the wind was onshore I decided to check out the River in the middle of Sindangan bay. the local fishermen drive their boats a bit like they behave on the road not paying attention as to what is around them and twice I had to change course to avoid larger/ faster boats. As I arrived at the entrance to the river, I noticed that the waves were getting bigger which at first I thought was just due to the wind over current effect. However as I stopped to drink some water I realised the wind was increasing, so I decided to turn back, just as well I did, as my return was made more difficult with some short breaking waves, meaning I had to paddle further offshore at an oblique angle into the wind ,before turning towards the beach with waves on my quarter. I made a mental note that in future to always paddle upwind to start which is what I normally do.
I finally go a reply from Cignal regarding my satellite disconnection, it would seem that my statement of account had got lost in the post, so today we went to Metrobank in Dipolog city and brought the payment up to date. The problem is you spend hours queuing to make payments in Philippine banks which is really frustrating. They have online banking in the Philippines, but can only use it to send money to other customers in the same bank. Interbank transfers seem to be a no no.
The road to Dipolog is under repair at one point, and you can see why it breaks up, the tarmac is not laid on a solid foundation, just a layer of compacted earth, rather than sand and gravel. Its also noticeable that most of the motorbike riders seen to have a top speed of 40 KPH, the same as the Tricycle cabs, which can cause queues to form for no apparent reason other than the fact they seem oblivious to the fact that other people might want to travel faster. to be honest the best Inter town transport is the Rural Bus Service, it fast and efficient and economical and the drivers keep the road clear by constant touting of the horn.
Until the Next Time.

Life in the PhilippinesLife in the Philippines
Well yet another day with heavy rainstorm and a brown out, but did manage to get one task completed and that was resetting my laptop, removing junk files and cleaning out old programs, it took about 24 hours to complete the cleanup and install updated programs so now everything should work better.
Yesterday did a little bit of exploring in the car and found a dirt road that will be good to use when there are rainstorms as it is in fact the old road between Sindangan and Dipolog with only a couple of short muddy patches. It is hard to imagine it was the main route as it is virtually a carriageway and a half wide. where it ends at the main toad there is also an interesting track to explore which mike connect to the coastal route that I also train on. So location is noted for the future.
I also spend some time this morning on my business setting up a new Wordpress blog Philippine Online Marketing Services/ I still need to add more pages but the blog is now live and I can remotely submit data to it.

Sindangan
Today there is a tropical storm of the coast of Manila, with the result Sindangan is suffering from rain shows with short blast of wind arriving before the rain. One result of this is interruptions to both Satellite TV and power cuts which of course means no Internet.
This morning I took my sea kayak out for a spin, each time I go out i travel a little further and today I reached a nearby headland and was able to see round the corner into the next bay, where i can see what looks like a couple of local beach resorts. The term beach resort locally means there are huts/shelters for hire and you bring in your own food and drink , although some do have bars.
There was quite a swell running and the larger fishing boats are still in shelter, returning to the beach I caught a couple of breakers, but the second one which took me into the beach was slight;y smaller, with the result the following one broke over my kayak getting me wet.

Marketing your Business
Today I was speaking with a gentleman, who signed up to use one of my marketing tools and I asked him how his business was doing and he replied that he had been working online for about a year but was having trouble getting traffic and had made no sales. I discovered he was selling Quickbank products, on delving a little deeper it turned it turned out that one of the products was a traffic generator which seemed ironic. I asked him if he used any of the products himself and he said an emphatic NO.
One basic point about marketing your business online or offline is you must know your product. Relying on the sales literature which hundreds if not thousands of other people are using just is not good enough. You need to be able to provide your unique insight, which is why some people are more successful than others.
Far too many people think that to earn money online all they have to do is post a few adverts directing people to an affiliate page and the money will come rolling in, if this was so we would all be millionaires. The way you earn money on or offline follows the same formulae Time + Effort = Money or to put it another way you earn money from the time and effort you put into your business. A traditional business needs start up capital as it is very difficult to run a business if you have no seed capital to get you going.
The cost of setting up an Internet business is much lower, but it is not free despite the many free offers you may see, to make money you need to invest money and put in time and effort to earn more.
The basic advice I gave to this Gentleman was to go back to the drawing board and find a product or service that interested him, or he had knowledge about, research this niche for money earning product and keywords and then build a blog to include a lead capture box and to provide updated information about his niche on a daily basis with links to his business sales page.

TheInterbiz launches the concept of online conference rooms http://onlineconferenceroom.theinterbiz.com/ in the Philippines, a cost effective way of getting your message across to customers in the region and providing training to staff in remote location.
The Philippines is the ideal place to use Web conferencing for business as it allows conferencing events to be shared with remote locations. We cab also provide either a recorded copy of an event, or a means for a subscriber to record an event. The service allows information to be shared simultaneously, across geographically dispersed locations in nearly real-time. Applications for web conferencing include meetings, training events, lectures, or short presentations from any computer. A participant can be either an individual person or a group. System requirements that allow individuals within a group to participate as individuals (e.g. when an audience participant asks a question) depend on the size of the group. Handling such requirements is often the responsibility of the group. In general, system requirements depend on the vendor. The service is made possible by Internet technologies, particularly on IP/TCP connections.
Our solution requires a small piece software to be installed via download by the presenter and participants prior to the event and provide a complete solution. We also provide a means of interfacing with email and calendaring clients in order that customers can plan an event and share information about it, in advance.
Support for planning a shared event is typically integrated with calendar and email applications. There is a method of controlling access to an event.
The term webinar is a neologism, short for Web-based Seminar, a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web, specifically a portmanteau of web & seminar, to describe a specific type of web conference. Some argue that webinars might be one-way, from the speaker to the audience with limited audience interaction, so one-way broadcasts are perhaps more accurately called webcasts. Our Webinars themselves are more collaborative and include polling and question & answer sessions to allow full participation between the audience and the presenter. Our online web conference room technologies incorporated the use of VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) audio technology, to allow for a completely web-based communication.

Marketing your Business
I have been hanging around a popular online forum and everyday people are asking the same old questions, how to build backlinks to websites.
Backlinks are a measure of a sites importance, the more links coming into your website from other websites the better, provided that the incoming links are correctly tagged with your keywords.
So how do we get backlinks you may ask. there are a number of ways such as buying links, link swaps etc but in my opinion the best way is to build them yourself. I build a minimum of three links every day using classified ads and webpages, in addition to links from blogs.
The first system I use is 1-Family Classifieds, which is one of the oldest classified sites on the Internet, it has an Alexa ranking of 80,000 or 30,000 in the US so information posted hear is picked up by search engine spiders.
I also use Free Page to build a one page website, no special skills are required, it just a matter of filling in a template and the web site has an Alexa ranking of 50,000 in the USA so once again it is popular.
Normally the content that I place in these sites is information about the products and services I sell, note I said information, because that is what people are looking for. Do not try to hard sell with figures, graphs and the like. Provide information that adds value to your product, remembering of course to link back to your business with your specified keyword phrase.
Remember that your same keyword phrase needs to be prominent on the page that you link back to. I does not get much simpler than this and over.
To get fast rack results I recommend building 500 single webpages and 1,000 classified ads for any new website as fast as possible.

Conference Room
Marketing your business via a conference room is a relatively new but cost effective way of putting your business in front of potential customers. Video is a very effective marketing tool and part of any business plan needs to contain a video about your business ideas and products.
There is a need however to go further by using interactive conferencing. Many businesses use online conferences to reduce staff travel and it can be an excellent way to answer customers queries or to host seminars on particular subjects.
Your conference room can be used as a 24/7 sales or support room holding a collection of videos which will answer customers queries, when you are not available, supplemented of course by live presentations.

Auto responders
When you are starting out marketing your business and building a list of potential customers and subscribers you need an auto responders to keep in touch with them.
You will need to build a set or sets of letters about your services and products and I strongly suggest that the contents of these letter contain information rather than a sales pitch. These letters can be personalised and then sent out over a period of days or weeks.
Your Autoresponder will become your friend as every letter that goes out includes an unsubscribe or script suppression button, to be used by people who no longer want to receive your messages. this helps protest you from Spam complaints.
Your auto responder will also enable you to place subscription boxes on your website to automatically collect leads who wish to read your news letters.
The Veremailis one of the few auto responders which uses its own Pop Account rather than your own email address so this protects from spam complaint which can lead to shutting down of your personal email account. Another advantage is the ability to send emails to all email subscribers or selected subscribers at a click of the button.
It cannot be stressed enough the importance of building letters to support your business.

List building
I saw a post recently on a forum from someone who had purchased a list and could not work out why he had not got any sales after three weeks. This is a common problem, the facts are that if you purchase a list you will rarely make a profit, because the leads that you purchase are not fresh and have been probably sold to multiple customers, so when you approach them they are not interested. If you telephone them they can often be abusive.
The sad fact is that that the Internet is not rapid money making machine, it takes time sometimes months or even years to market your business.
A better way is to created a lead capture page, to capture their email and telephone number so you can start communicating with your lead by email and/or phone and building some form of relationship with them, soft selling, find out what their needs are. Just pointing them to an affiliate site rarely works.
A common mistake is to keep sending out the same message if you do you will find that either they unsubscribe or block your emails. I have some subscribers who I em ailed for over a year until they took the plunge when the time way right for them.
You can use an autoresponder to market your business and send out emails space the first few a day or two apart then then extend the gap to weeks or months that way it will not seem you are bugging them.
If you do not know how to build a lead capture page, I can teach you or you can subscribe to a Gold Veretekk which has some pre-built portals which will capture fresh leads for you.

About Alexa.com
Alexa was founded in April 1996, Alexa Internet grew out of a vision of intelligent Web navigation constantly improving through its users. Since then, the Alexa users have downloaded millions of Toolbars, and Alexa has created one of the largest Web crawls, and developed the infrastructure to process and serve massive amounts of data.
For users of the Alexa Toolbar and website, the results are products that have revolutionized Web navigation and intelligence. For developers, this has led to a set of tools unprecedented in scope, allowing whole new services to be created with Alexa data. Alexa.com is a subsidiary of Amazon.com just for reference.
Alexa.com is a complete search unit that provides excellent information for websites. It contains a massive amount of data for each site searched, and is able to convey the rank, and popularity of almost any site currently live on the Internet.
There is some controversy associated with Alexa.com, and it would seem that some of the critics talk about it not being anything but yet another way to capture data from computers. It is a fact that the rank comes from people downloading the toolbar provided, and viewing the sites. You may Download the Alexa.com Toolbar Here. This toolbar is an excellent and convenient way to view sites from a totally different perspective. It also allows for the easy comment feature on sites, and we recommend becoming active within the Alexa.com community. It can mean a better overview for your current SEO campaigns.
I suggest that you go to: Alexa.com and type in the search Veretekk.com. Go and look at the stats to get an overall view of how Veretekk is doing on the searches, and the amount of traffic and popularity that is being seen there. This is a very good indicator of how good a business model that Veretekk as. The gentle upward curve is indicative of the stability of Veretekk.
Alexa.com is also a very good way to check out business opportunities. As Tom has said many times, before joining a business, go to Alexa.com and check their main site out. If you see a gently upward curve in the stats monitor, over a long period of time, the business is most likely stable. If; however, you read a huge spike on the graph, then levels off to much lower results in a new business, this business would indeed NOT be stable and bear close watching before joining.
Veretekk is really all about educating our subscribers in the intricate details of search engine optimisation and search engine marketing. Honestly, no where on the Internet today, do you get a better education about how the Internet really does work. This knowledge turns into profit when properly implemented through the consistent effort put forth to succeed.

Marketing your Business
I was in the Warriors forum today and someone was asking if SEO is difficult or easy so this is the answer I gave
It seems a strange question to ask, as it depends on what kind of person you are. you see to be successful in SEO you need to become dedicated to success and prepared to put in the time and learn what will produce good results.
Far too many people think its just a matter of putting links or comments on blogs, forums etc. This is just a waste of time and the reason why most people fail.
Before you commence an SEO campaign you need to do some detailed market research to find a niche where there is an opportunity to earn money. Now it greatly helps if your are interested and knowledgeable about your niche, because you will be providing potential customers with information which will hopefully lead to sales, if you do things right.
The next step is to research possible keywords and keyword phrases using online resources such as Alexa, Google to analyse successful sites in your chosen niche
Once you have your keywords you need to buy a domain with a name that includes you main keyword phrase and start building and information rich page.
Now most successful sites are those which have a stream of updated information and one way of achieving this is via an RSS feed from a blog, so I always suggest building a blog to which you need to post new information about your niche on a daily basis, which is why it is good to work on a niche which interests you.
In addition to writing a daily blog you need to write classified ads and build addition single page websites to backlinks to your main site.
Now how difficult or simple is that ?

You need to start building backlinks to your business by configuring your portals in the back office. You also have the ability to create additional Blogger drones on your own domains and sub domains.
The next method to market your business is to use two of your portals First Family Classifieds which allows you to place an advert on one of the oldest classified systems on the Internet. Then you need to use Free Page to create an instant web page which is formed from data you enter into a simple template.
The final method of marketing your business is to build both Wordpress blogs on your own domains and sub domains and on Blogger.com. If you are the owner of a Veretekk Platinum control panel, you can use Blogger Bully to post to selections of your blogs

I cannot understand why people make SEO seem so complex, with worrying about keyword density, algorithms, page ranking and the like. If you follow the basis rules as laid down at Google webmaster tools you will be off to a great start. It is good to spend a lot of time ensuring that the content of you main site follows the guidelines. Hidden text and small text are no no's.
In order to keep a supply of new updated information coming into you website use an RSS feed from a blog, which also back;inks to information contained within your website.
Backlinks are important but you need to ensure they are correctly tagged with a keyword that will provide more detailed information for someone following the link, be it a search engine spider or a reader.
Make sure you use all the advertising resources you can find to build backlinks with information from forums, classified adds, blogs and other RSS feeds. Good quality information is the key to success, if you cannot find suitable information to add value to your site produce your own.
When preparing new content avoid selling, provide information and benefits with links to other pages for additional information and prices, a soft sell is the way to go.

I realised today that most people have not a clue what to do when it comes to marketing online, judging by the questions being asked on Online forums. You can design the best website in the world but if you do not set it up correctly you will do little business.
The first step is to study your potential market and research possible keywords, it is no use to use keywords phrases which have few hits, on the other hand short keywords such as "leads" are so popular it will take a long time to crack and you would be better to choose what is called a long tailed keyword "Florida mortgage leads" which would improve your success.
Having collected about half a dozen keyword phrases you need to create a site using the main keyword in the title and write some good content filled pages. Then Submit the site to Google.
The final step is to build backlinks and you do this by writing 1000 classified ads and building 500 free webpages all linking to your site I have made a short video to explain this

Yesterday I showed you the basics about how to market your own business online. Today I am going to reiterate the need to be constantly providing new information. I started a blog Dipolog House and Lot as an experiment to show a local real estate developer in the Philippines how to improve marketing his business.
The blog has been running for the past month and showed up in Google search results in position 10 on the second day. Today I checked Google and now it has risen to position 7 and in addition links are shown in position 8. I also have further 4 links from by marketing campaign on page 2 and 2 links on page 3.
I have also had the first lead come in via by contact form. Because I keep promoting it every day using my marketing system, I expect to gradually take over the search term Dipolog house and Lot. Admissibly this search term has limited regular searches but it does illerstrate the point.
The site also has captured the top three positions for Dipolog gated community ahead of Mediatrix Homes which ranked 8th, just above another link of mine.

Marketing your Business
Many people become confused about how to market your business online and end up wasting a lot of money. For example in my opinion using PPC is a complete waste of time unless you have a free coupon from Google, it is far better to concentrate on capturing organic search results positions.
Lets take the the keyword "Marketing your business" there are about 321 Million results shown in Google and if you use the Google keyword selector there are about 22,000 searches a month, with not too much competition, however if you look at local searches for the Philippines there is virtually no competition but only a few hundred search a month. So I would suggest trying to dominate your local area first, knowing that the work you put it will also show in the global result but lower down.
The search engine robots are on a constant lookout for new information so you need to be adding data about marketing your business on a regular basis. As your site becomes recognised as a regular source of good information the robots will pay more regular visits. I know of some sites that if I submit a new blog or website link in the site, it will show up in search results in a matter of minutes.
You need to work on having a lot of contents and back links and of course this takes time to build which is why you may need to wait for a few months and sometimes years to get top results. One word of caution remember to provide information about your business, product or service do not try to sell.

Crons (on demand)
Cron has many uses. Not all hosting companies offer this service. With Vpanel you can use cron to create nightly backups, update auto posts to your forums and blogs that read rss feeds (great for back link strategies), generate new email and synchronize files nightly via SSH over the Internet. There are many more uses for this service. We teach you in our web conference rooms how this is accomplished. An example of a Cron at work is this PHPBBB forum: http://wavefour.com/ It is a custom coded forum from Veretekk and requires a cron script to tell the site to read the feeds from the Veretekk machine.
Veretekk plug ins
Plugins can extend WordPress to do almost anything you can imagine. Veretekk has and continues to build WordPress plugins that add Veretekk technology into your own WordPress blogs. IE: Ad our self replicating ebooks into your blogs, add Vereconference registration and room logins into your WP system. Create hybrid Veretekk portal/WP blogs, etc.
Veretekk Get scripts
The Veretekk Get scripts allow you to import your Veretekk portals into your own pages, edit those pages to make a different look from the original, that creates live content on your site, that updates when ever the original updates. This is an incredible technology. For an example of this at work, check this site out. (http://automatedmarketing.itsgoodbusiness.com.au/) It is entirely Get scripts and Veretekk plugins. Everything displayed on the website is being pulled from many other sources. Similar to an rss feed, but actually reads the entire page from other sites. We will teach you how this is done. Do you know why this is so powerful?
Secure FTP Accounts
FTP connection with our server is not allowed because of security issues. Instead of using ftp you have to use SFTP. SFTP connection is encrypted and the login/password cannot be read by people who want to crack your access and login to your hosting. To transfer files between your PC and server you can use any software, which supports SFTP communication.
WinSCP
WinSCP is a secure program to login to your hosting account and transfer data. Most important is that a password is encrypted when it is sent over Internet. When you use FTP password is sent in plain text.
We suggest using WinSCP program to connect to our server. This is to protect your account and our server.

Yesterday I attended a presentation by Terry Allison who was explaining what needs to be done to be successful online, well imagine my surprise when my name was mentioned, it seems he had found a video interview where I was discussing my success with the Veretekk Platinum control panel with Tom Prendergast of Veretekk. I had actually my self watched it earlier in the week, it had been recorded some 18 month ago.
I have been using the Platinum control panel daily since it was first introduced, It took a little time to understand how to use it, a bit like stepping into a Formula 1 car, the power is incredible. The system is as it say a control panel which Veretekk owners can use to not only to organise, control and update up to twenty are more separate accounts but also to save an immense amount of time in their marketing campaigns.
Now you know how marketeers are bemoaning the fact that Google and other search engines often update their algorithms to provide better results for the public , which means the marketeers backdoor methods have to be redone, and back linking and link share technics adopted. Well my own SEO results barely change, in fact I have actually lost count of the number of top positions I have claimed.
I noticed today that Google has kindly given me a related search to my name David Ogden Internet Marketing Mentor which is great. Many times I have looked for people who are touting marketing systems but cannot find any mention of them online apart from reference to scammers.
Given the right tools and the discipline required to succeed plus time anyone can dominate the search engines, but a word of warning if you continually jump from one product to another you will only succeed in confusing the search engines and lining other peoples pockets.
I am shortly going to be moving to the Philippines which is going to open up a new marketing Asia area, I have already approached a few companies with ideas on how I can enhance their marketing efforts and when the Platinum control panel is re released in the next month or so this will be at the centre of my arsenal.
Well this blog was not what I set out to write however is you want to know more e-mail me at platinum@theinterbiz.com

Top SEO Results ToolHow to get Top SEO Results
Its sad to say that Many people so called SEO guru's do not know what they are talking about. Recently these guru's were moaning about Google because they changed their algorithm with the result that many sites dropped from top positions. You see true SEO White hat techniques as laid out by Google will always rise to the top.
There is no need to worry about keyword density and the like. You just need to provide topical information about your keyword on a regular basis and provide back links to you site.
In order to get top SEO results, you need first of all to select a good keyword or phrase to represent your business. The more popular the keyword the longer time it will take to reach the first page, so sometimes you are better to target a longer tailed phrase, so long as it is being searched for a reasonable number of times.
Once you have a keyword, then you need to ensure the keyword is in your domain name. This will help to get top position. Many people make a mistake when designing web sites include sound and video, this is not really necessary you are better to keep it simple. If you do include pictures on your home page ensure you tag them with Alt tags using your keyword, this will help rank your pictures in search engine results.
A web site that is optimised to get top SEO results will have changing information on its home page that ensures the search engine spider will continue to revisit your site, you can do this using blog feeds relevant to your site and keywords.
I mentioned earlier that back links to your site will help you rise up the rankings and many people have difficulty with this. The simplest way is to make say 500 individual web pages using Free Page each linking back to your site with your keyword as the link. You also need to post at least 500 classified ads again with links to your site. Both of these sites form part of the powerful Veretekk marketing system which I have been using successfully for the past four years to capture top SEO results. The final piece of the puzzle which is often overlooked is to blog everyday about your keyword.
You will find that carrying out the above tasks virtually guarantees a top position sometimes in days but more often in months, depending on how quickly you build you links. There are other Veretekk tools that you can use but I will discuss these in other posts.

Veretekk Version 2.0 SEO Social Networking Tools
Veretekk, although at one time was a project and a goal, it has become far more than that. At first the goal was to build a system that produced leads exclusively for the subscribers use. In other words, your lead would only be called by you and no one else. We coined this valuable lead a Premium lead.
I have always done business with a higher set of values than most people and the whole idea of buying or acquiring leads and selling them to subscribers seems to me to be totally unethical. Therefore I embarked upon a path of great difficulty but not impossible to achieve. Thus, Veretekk was born.
The goal was set, to deliver a system based on ethics that would develop and deliver sustainable, exclusive leads that were actually something greater than just a lead, but a valuable asset necessary to build any business, loyal customers. The quest was on.
The first obvious portal we built to do this was the Free For All link system called the FFAfarm. This was way back in 1994 we started with this portal system. Back then the FFA was a big deal and everyone was doing it. Sites like ffausa.com and ffanet.net were huge. Submitting to them got your email box buried in subsequent autoresponders. The FFA system became the rue of and hated by the anti spam people and with good cause.
Many of those original ffa systems have gone into the abyss of history while only a few remain and look nothing like they did back then. The one exception is our portal ffafarm.com. Back then as today, the ffafarm uses double optin and verified policies to eliminate the main issue that got all the others shut down, spam.

See SpamCops astounded comment about the FFAFARM way back in 2001.
http://news.spamcop.net/pipermail/spamcop-list/2001-July/015766.html

FFANET was the GIANT of FFA systems, but alas they too had to close up and change into something else, because they did not use verification practices.
Enough about FFA systems. They are real old technology and even though our FFAFARM still produces leads, Veretekk is way beyond that old technology. So let me carry on.

All Veretekk systems required an email system. In 1998 we embarked on what is known today as Veremail. It is the first of its kind and has been copied by all the major email providers like Aweber and Getresponse.
Veremail is a POP email system. Your Veretekk username is your email address with all our domains (40 of them at this writing) as the root domain for your username. IE: username@veretekk.com, username@blastomatic.com, username@vereconference.com, username@webcatch.net , you get the idea right?
So unlike all the other Autoresponder / email publication services (Aweber, Getresponse, Constant Contact, Email Aces, and 123response and a lot more to just list) none offer a POP mail account to go with your system. You have to wonder why.
Email systems that incorporate list building, subscription forms that incorporate mass mailing and sequential mailings (autoresponders) often get many spam complaints. Please pay attention, as this lesson is very valuable.
The spam complaints follow to the senders return email address. Your email address. If you are using a Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. you will loose that email address. If you are using AOL, Comcast, Road Runner, TCT, or any other email address associated with your ISP you will get your ISP account terminated.
At Veretekk your email address is selected from one of our domains and runs from our servers. If we get a complaint, we have the resources and proof that your email is a double opted in email and the spam complaint is not legitimate.
Therefore you do not loose nor have to fight the complaint. We protect you. Furthermore, you even have the option of building web pages on all of the 40+ domains to use in your email advertising, thereby eliminating the possibility of your hosting company or affiliate company shutting you down from a false complaint.
We will talk more about the hosting, Veretekk Gold includes, later in this article. Not just hosting, but commercial quality unlimited hosting.
The Veretekk email system Veremail is a fully comprehensive service that is fully deliverable and a far greater value than any other service out there. Even Veretekk prices for a greater values service are lower than all competitors.
Veretekk continues to build new portals every year. To date there are over 50 portals available to build your business online. These portals offer real value and services for the simple act of opting into them (your lead)

The genius behind our portals (unique domains with your username as the subdomain ie: http://username.vereconference.com) is they offer very real and unique services for free. Like free conference rooms, free advertising submission services, free leads, free software, free vacations, etc.
These are very dynamic lead capture systems. And they capture the name, phone number and verified double opt in email addresses. And
.these leads (we call them premium leads) are unique only to you. When you call these leads they are eager to get to know you. Often becoming loyal customers and even excellent distributors in your business.
These lead capture portals all incorporate the Veremail technology. Furthermore, with the Veretekk system, you can create your own personal unique capture portals as well. Veretekks Veremail gives you all the specialized code to create forms on your websites to build subscriptions that double opt in and refer to your pages if you want, and can also be set up to send any number of sequential autoresponders.
You will find the ability to create these subscription codes (also known as campaigns) within the Veretekk section called Sequential Mail. Sequential mail allows you to create autoresponder letters in text or HTML and in unlimited sets. What I mean is you can produce unlimited sets of autoresponders with unlimited numbers of email letters in those sets. You can also edit these sets.
So in an early summary, Veretekk gives you state of the art email POP accounts, with unlimited email addresses and unlimited autoresponder systems no one else does.
Veretekk delivers a set of 40 proven and effective lead generation portals already to use and already acquiring leads from the day you signup. Furthermore Veremail delivers all you need to build your own lead capture sites.
Veretekk gives you state of the art sequential email developing tools to build unlimited email campaigns. Whether they are text based or HTML The Sequential email system is all you need to create, edit or delete your email set campaigns. Single sequential email sets also show up in the pull down in your Bully Pulpit broadcasting center.

The Bully Pulpit is another Veretekk exclusive. It is the center of your communications as all your leads are centralized here. They are compiled in organized sets depending on where they came from. This allows you to send a daily newsletter, alert, a report to all or designated sections of your leads databases.
So aside from having an unlimited array of sequential email sets for your campaigns, you also have a broadcasting system to communicate to your entire email database lists on a daily basis.
But Veretekk offers a lot more than this. However, what I just covered is the core of Veretekk and that is building your business with the necessary flow and acquisition of excellent leads. To do that you need traffic as well, and Veretekk does that with great confidence.
Now I will cover what we have added to the Veretekk system to support the core objective.

Conference rooms have always been an integral part of Veretekk because we have used them to teach our subscribers how to market on the Internet, how to use Veretekk and a lot of other important support skills like using HTML, setting up YouTube, etc.
Then we created Vereconference, a profitable Traffic Portal that we refer to as a Profit Portal. These conference rooms offer the best Webinar experience to be found. The sound quality cannot be beat. They contain recording abilities, white boards with all the markup tools and the ability to cut and past, screen capture and annotate (Post It Notes).
Then we integrated the same room technology into the Vereconference system as a 5 seat system included with your Veretekk Gold system.
The Veretekk conference room will be an open room from your new V2 Veretekk front site along with the free presentations the Veretekk presenters will have available from your new V2 page. This new integration is part of the social marketing upgrades Veretekk is going through.

The leads that we deliver via the Freeffas.net site that we charge $10.00 per month for the full service are now available as an included benefit with the Veretekk Gold system. These are FFA leads (so you know the quality) and are only email, name and IP address . However, these are the best email leads money can buy and extremely fresh.
Compare prices with other lead sellers on Google. Heavy Hitter leads cost $950 for 1,000 leads per batch. Getreponse leads cost about $350 per 1000 email leads. Pro Email Leads offers 6000 email leads for 45.97 per batch. Then there are the email lists you can buy 1 million CDs for $8.00 (Don’t bother, these are spam lists at their worse and you will find yourself in very big trouble atrtempting that).
So on the average most legitimate email leads list run around $400 per 1000 leads. So even at $8 per 1000 leads lets compare what Veretekk gives you. Veretekk delivers around 1,500 fresh leads per day. Buts lets say 1000 leads per day to make the match easier. Let’s say Veretekk charges $54.95 per month (That is what we charge for everything, not just the leads package) and we deliver a new batch of fresh leads per day, so that comes to about 30,000 leads per month. That works out to about $2 per 1000 leads!
Did you see that? There is no lead service out there that even comes close to the price these leads cost you and they are included with the most advanced state of the art automated marketing system on the Internet!
It amazes me that many of our subscribers miss these facts entirely. It is my fault for not constantly pointing this out. You can get the entire Veretekk Gold system, 50+ portal domains, automatic streaming of premium leads flowing in the moment you turn Gold,a state of the art best quality 5 seat conference room, 24/7 live training, presentations and mentoring from top Internet successful professionals, automated submission services, massive SEO tools for getting top Google search rankings, one of the finest and most comprehensive email autoresponder mailing systems, all without any limitations or upchages like all the other email services charge.
You just cant get this type of value and service anywhere at any price and we sell it for less than the cheapest lead brokers just sell their leads for head to head! We also include the premier delivery system as well. They don’t! And now we have added full blown, unlimited, professional level hosting.

Veretekk just recently built a new server farm for our new Veretekk integrated hosting. This concept is a total paradigm shift in online hosting since the beginning. So let’s talk about hosting. Let’s compare just the hosting. Most of the hosting out there, especially the ones at deep discounts are limited. OK, maybe they offer unlimited domains, but they limit the number of databases you can have, or they limit access to deep Apache functions like setting up crons for server functions and specialized scripts.
Ever try to set up certain plug ins with WordPress but they won’t work where you are hosting? How about setting up a script to run everyday at 2am. I hear these issues from my subscribers on an ongoing basis. Many people find disappointment with their hosting companies when they start to get sophisticated and need SQL databases and Server side includes and PHP includes, cronned scripts, etc. built into their sites. Don’t know what I am talking about? Are you able to get live support and training were you host? I mean live web conference rooms with training and trouble shooting. I have hosted with many services over the many years on the Internet basically since the Internet started back in the early 90s.
When I started I was ON MY OWN with learning HTML, CGI scripting, FTPing files up to the server. Heck, I didn’t even know what a server was. There was nobody to teach me how databases worked. I was extremely frustrated and challenged learning, but learn I did. Because I never give up, not because I am some genius, which I am not.
So when I decided to offer hosting with your Veretekk Gold account, I saw a different option we could deliver than any other hosting compnay can do. First of all, I want you to have access to our knowledge and experience so your expereience is uncomplicated and especuially know that you have literally hundreds of live people avaiallbe to help you achieve your goals and dreams at Veretekk especially with hosting your web sirtes and domains. So put on your thinking caps as I take you through what Veretekk has launched and the mind blowing difference we make with all the other hosting services on the Internet. I do mean all of the rest.
First and foremost training and support are going to be unparralled in Veretekk Vpanel hosting. We have live conference room technology and we will be offering live hands on training to teach you how to build web sites, upload files, create subdomains, register domains, choose keywords, build HTML, set up blogs and forums, etc. Everything you always wanted to know but didn’t know where to find it. Right here, live and interactive.
We have also set up beta teams and Skype support chat rooms. There is no down time with Veretekk. 24/7 you have access to real people helping you succeed with your Internet hosting questions and needs.
Veretekk is the leading edge on marketing technology. With literally over 50 portals that incorporate state of the art technology, the following are a few of the high tech tools available in the Portal Control panels that will become plug ins for your hosting. This capability will give you the ability to create unique original web sites that incortporate the technology that Veretekk has developed right into your sites.
Here are a few samples of what your web sites can ad and incorporate:
